Balpara’s soil testing and geotechnical services have been contracted for projects on new mine sites, within the rail corridor, wind farms, multi-storey buildings, hospitals, universities, substations and around live electrical assets and subdivisions. We conduct thorough site contamination assessments, soil management and disposal, soil laboratory testing, and determine environmental risk to ensure compliance.
We work in consultation with regulators and authorities throughout the project life cycle to ensure all work is matched with necessary (rail card) access training. Potential implications are considered and approvals obtained in a timely manner.
Balpara’s geotechnical services see us investigate and test the engineering behaviours of soil and rock materials. We then provide recommendations for foundations, earthworks, basement excavation and slope stability. We assist with a variety of infrastructure projects including buildings, bridges, dams, telecommunication towers, rail and roads.
